We went to meet him backstage at the Blackpool Grand Theatre at 1am to talk about his remarkable life and career.

With a remarkable 60+ on the stage, he began his professional career in 1954 at the Nottingham Empire.

Since then he’s performed for 9 months solid at the London Palladium (twice daily / 3 shows on a Saturday) & had number 1 hits with ‘Tears’ and many others.

2017 has been one of the biggest and best years of his life with a sell out tour, receiving the Knighthood and in November, turning 90.

Alex has been honoured to know Sir Ken for over 25 years.

We’re honoured to call Kenneth Arthur Dodd our friend.
