This song continues to be re-born in shows like Desperate Housewives and movies like Shrek 3RD and The Adventures Of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert.

Charlene signed to the world renowned label ‘MOTOWN’ where she released 6 albums.

Her follow up single was a duet with Stevie Wonder titled ‘Used To Be’ which was banned in the UK due to its controversial lyrics.

Charlene is releasing a new single titled I Was You in 2018. It was written by the writers of I’ve Never Been To Me.

Charlene is an artist who has touched the world with her haunting vocal style and quality. Charlene got her big break when she recorded a song called “Sweet Sad Clown.”

It was presented to Motown Records’ founder, Berry Gordy, who signed her within a month.
