We Will Rock You Closed May 31st 2014 ~ Dominion Theatre West End

We Will Rock You Closed May 31st 2014 at the Dominion Theatre, West End of London.

We Will Rock You is a musical based on the songs of Queen with a book by Ben Elton.

The musical tells the story of a group of Bohemians who struggle to restore the free exchange of thought, fashion, and live music in a distant future where everyone dresses, thinks and does the same. Musical instruments and composers are forbidden, and rock music is all but unknown.

The show opened in 2002 and announced it is closing in 2014 making it the 10th most successful musical in West End history.

Alex was one of the few reviewers who raved about this production. It may have a buttock-clenchingly crass script, however, the music, band and production is one of the most brilliant in West End history.

Belfield has interviewed many of the Stars of the show and all of the creators behind this production.

We’ll be sad to see you go WWRY!
