Enjoy Celebrity Radio’s Yardbird Southern Table & Bar Review Venetian Las Vegas….
Everyone knows US Southern cuisine is arguably the most authentic, exciting and delicious in North America.
Passed down through generations this food screams sincere heritage.
Sure, it’s about sweet tea and swimmin’ holes, front porches and fried chicken, magnolias and Moon Pies. But more importantly, it’s about being devoted to your roots.
The Yardbird has elegantly tapped into this culture superbly with a gorgeous high energy room and

The menu is fresh creative and has huge energy like the restaurant itself.
To begin BBQ Belly Pork with cherry apple glaze – a delicious appetiser – arguably a perfect light entrée also! It would be for me.
Next, a huge southern dish and popular Yardbird classic is the Fried Green Tomato BLT. This comes with belly pork, greens and tomato jam.
Finally, everyone in Vegas seems to love devilled eggs – these are some of the most impressive I’ve been served.
The charred okra with lemon juice, cotija cheese & brown butter is a wonderful addition to the meal.
Also, the sweet white potato mash is a naughty but flavour packed addition to the meal.
Finally though – you cannot miss the Yardbird fried “Chicken N Watermellon N Waffles”
This is southern delight and a meal big enough for 4…. (pic 3)
Finally 3 other stand out appetising courses include the Smoked and Roasted Bone Marrow. Wow – not seen that on the menu in years and it is a delicacy not to be missed.
The pulled chicken salad is a delightful plate beautifully presented.
Finally for fish – The Grilled Florida Cobia was a lovely light dish with gorgeous blistered tomatoes with eggplant salsa & tomato broth….
The Short Rib & Grits was my favourite dish on the entire menu.
The 18oz bone in short rib is sensational! So tender and utterly delicious.
This comes with charred corn, haricot verd & sweet garlic bordelaise….
Finally – don’t miss dessert!
Beautifully presented and a wonderful end to the meal!
